brief: Overhaul the experience of shower storage, with a focus on tool-free interaction
Our interdisciplinary team set out to translate an old steel design to a new aluminum construction. While testing in studio, we were inspired to improve the poor installation experience with a dual-telescoping mechanism. The totally new gesture allows users to stand upright (no acrobatics!) in their cramped, damp showers and slide the pole into place, without any tools. The design was included on the Time Best Inventions 2019 list for its super easy installation and high-quality adjustability.
